The Knowledge-Creating Company
Nonaka and Takeuchi carry their theory through Matsushita's failed bread-maker prototype and Ikuko Tanaka's apprenticeship with a hotel baker. A felt 'twisting stretch' became a phrase, a redesigned kneading mechanism, and a commercial product, making visible how experience can travel through a coalition without becoming a manual first. The case made knowledge creation organizable, but it does not prove that tacit knowledge literally converts into explicit knowledge or settle who owns, credits, and benefits from what becomes corporate capability.
